Affiliate marketing is responsible for my success, my life of freedom, and my entrance into the direct marketing industry. The ability to sell other people’s products from anywhere has created wealth and a life of freedom for countless people, including myself. Affiliate marketing alone has allowed me to sell $2 million in product online without every leaving my home, and I have taught many to do the same.
There are many products, companies, and ebooks that claim to teach you everything that you need to know so that you can get rich quick doing affiliate marketing. I’ve gone through almost every single one of these products myself, and below is my review of what I recommend, and what you should avoid.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Avoid telephone coaching programs. People ask me every day if I do private coaching, or if there’s a coaching company that I recommend. No. I just don’t ever see it worth it, because the people that are going to take action are going to do so anyway – the coach rarely makes a difference. But more importantly, many companies will call you and offer to “hold your hand” and help you get started for between $3,000 and $5,000. At the start of my career, I bought into one of these, and I felt completely scammed by the end of it.
Below are my reviews of some of the most popular wealth programs on the internet, including those that got me started working from home. I have researched a countless number of these programs, and some of them are just flat out terrible, so I’ve listed the programs that I recommend you join with me.
Recommended Programs
#1 Wealthy Affiliate
Wealthy Affiliate is the internet’s best source of internet marketing education that I’ve found, especially for people who are just getting started. The reason? Put simply, the results. I continue to meet more and more people who have quit their jobs and are making full time incomes in affiliate marketing as a result of joining Wealthy Affiliate.
First, it has fresh, regularly updated content. The owners, Kyle and Carson, keep the resources at WA constantly up to date. In addition, the forum has thousands members, so help is always available when you need it.
Second, everything that you need to be successful is on hand inside Wealthy Affiliate. Unlike most programs that just give you a 50-page ebook, WA has website creation tools, keyword research tools, free web hosting, video training, free personal coaching, and a top notch forum. In my opinion, Wealthy Affiliate is the best wealth program on the internet.
I’ve been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for four years now, and I have no plans of canceling. Inside of WA, you’ll meet full time affiliate marketers, including Marcus, Jennifer, myself, Travis, Kim, and countless other five-figure a month income earners who got started at Wealthy Affiliate.

Google Sniper is an ebook that I have recommended to friends and family – including my own girlfriend – because it’s easy to follow and is truly step by step. In addition, I saw very fast results when I put it to the test, and my students saw the same fast results.
Written by a former furniture mover who became a five-figure a month income earner, Google Sniper changed the face of affiliate marketing and search engine optimization.
Google Sniper is one of the most copied strategies in the affiliate marketing world simply because it works. As a result, it has been expanded and built upon by many successful affiliate marketers. In fact, I continue to use this strategy in my own business when building new affiliate campaigns, simply because it is so darn effective.
While I recommend it as a simple strategy to follow to build your first profitable online campaigns, I do know of people who have built full time incomes simply by following this system. It is highly recommended for newbies, because it will have your first campaign up and running, and I’ve seen it work almost every single time.

#3 Bring The Fresh
The Rich Jerk by Kelly Felix was the program that started me in my online career, and it gave me the ideas and the information that I needed to launch me into a profitable business – heck, I was making $100/day within four days. Today, Kelly Felix has returned with a much more step-by-step, interactive program in which he and his partner Mike Long work with their members to create online businesses, called Bring the Fresh.
Inside of Bring The Fresh, you’ll have access to Kelly and Mike’s personal cell phone numbers, full access to their training, and an excellent, interactive user forum. In fact, it was Kelly’s original forum to which I credit much of my early successes.
When I think of Bring The Fresh, I think of quick cash, because many of the strategies outlined are about building fast income earners and getting cash quickly. The reason why Bring The Fresh is not ranked higher on the list is because there is a lack of scalable ideas that can become full-time income producers. Still, I have interacted with and met people who have earned tens of thousands of dollars using Bring The Fresh strategies.
The best part of Bring The Fresh is the interaction – I’ve never seen someone have the gumption to give their cell phone and personal email addresses to their customers, but Kelly and Mike do just that. In addition, the forum is extremely helpful to fill in the gaps and get one-on-one help whenever you need it.
Affiliate Marketing Programs To Avoid
“Free Website” Offers
Avoid
Do not be fooled by programs that offer to give you a “free website” that you simply need to activate and start making money. These websites are cookie cutter in nature and cannot be used to make money – in fact, they are designed to put more money into the pockets of the program officers.
For example, Ultimate Wealth Package was at one time was the best selling product on the Clickbank marketplace. However, they changed their approach to push cookie-cutter “free websites,” which were designed to sell more packages of their product and were not even capable of being scaled. As a result, their payment processor pulled them, and the product went under.
Many people have been very disappointed with what they received from free website offers, because they never truly delivers what it promises. Instead, a user gets sucked into a cycle of purchasing product after product in order to fully understand what has been purchased. While there are good, honest programs out there that you should pursue, cookie cutter websites will not put money into your pocket.
Instead of pursuing free, done-for-you websites, look into the WordPress Express tool at Wealthy Affiliate, which is a plug and play system for building your own unique site.
Legit Online Jobs
Sub-Par
Online job websites are highly misleading, because they claim to offer users real jobs, which is not the case. In fact, many of the “legit online jobs” companies will show screen shots of affiliate sales, but they teach completely different strategies.
Unfortunately, there are many companies that prey on people who are looking for work and pitch them on their slimy, illegitimate work at home opportunities. These include “type at home” jobs, envelope stuffers, and programs like Legit Online Jobs.
Legit Online Jobs is just like the programs from several years ago that sold like crazy. In other words, the program is out of date. There are better places that you can spend your money.
Furthermore, many of these companies will bait you into buying their high prices coaching programs, which I believe you should avoid like the friggin’ plague.

This article has been a good reminder to me that even though I hear about people who have everything on auto-pilot, and “done-for-you” websites are the way to start making money immediately, I am glad to hear someone saying it isn’t so. I got pulled into that ‘done-for-you’ stuff right after I got started, before I knew much, but now I have settled down to doing my own stuff, because everything else was a disappointment. After I am more experienced I might do some outsourcing, but only where I know I will get quality.
